Antikythera mehhanism

Antikythera mehhanism on antiikajast pärit mehaaniline arvuti, mis oli konstrueeritud arvutama ja osutama astronoomia nähtusi, näiteks kuu- ja päikesevarjutused, kuufaasid, planeetide liikumine tähistaevas jne. Arvatakse, et see ehitati aastatel 150–100 eKr.^[1] Mehhanismi jäänused leidsid merepõhjast 1901. aastal kreeklastest^[2] käsnakogujad laevavrakilt, mis oli leitud aasta varem Antikýthira saare lähedalt.
